The third and final generation Celsior, the 30 series, was released on August 31, 2000. The engine was changed to a 4,300cc 3UZ-FE, and the body design used many curved surfaces. The interior design was modeled after a luxury hotel room with diffused light, and the audio was made by Mark Levinson, making it a car worthy of being a luxury car from Toyota.
