The SMB.2 was a French-built jet fighter, the very first Western Europe-produced supersonic. Our SH48238 kit portrays the type in its later variety powered by a US-made J52 engine in longer tail section and serving with the Israeli Air Force, known as the Sa'ar - or Storm. These Israeli Sa'ars were used in a few wars with the neighbouring Arab countries.
