Your Goal
Be the first player to completely get your Hero Car off the opposite end of the Traffic Grid.
Set-Up
1. Shift the three-part Traffic Grid so all three sections are completely lined up and form a 6 x 14-unit rectangle.
2. Select one of the Game Set-ups (see page 23), and place vehicles on the Traffic Grid to match the illustration.
3. Shuffle the cards and deal four face-down to both players. Set aside the remaining cards in a face-down stack to create the draw pile.
4. Determine which player will use the Gold Hero Car, and which will use the Silver Hero Car.
Steps to Play
1. For the first game, the youngest player goes first. In subsequent games, the winner of the prior game goes first.
2. The first player selects one of the four cards in his/her hand and plays it by placing it face-up next to the draw pile. This creates the discard pile. He/she then moves vehicles and/or shifts the grid as they see fit according to the rules of the card played (see page 5 for Card Rules). He/she then draws a new card from the draw pile. NOTE: When the original draw pile runs out of cards, shuffle the discard pile and turn it face-down to create a new draw pile.
3. The second player selects one of his/her four cards, places it in the discard pile and makes their move. He/she then draws a new card from the draw pile.
4. The game continues in this fashion until one player??s Hero Car crosses the finish line on the opposite end of the Traffic Grid.
