AK Interactive AKG12 Acrylic Weathering Gouache Paint - Grime (20ml)

Acrylic Weathering Gouache Paint - Grime (20ml)
The formulation is not that of a standard gouache, and some properties have been adjusted compared to traditional artist gouaches to better meet the needs of modelers and facilitate the technique developed by Adam Wilder.
The range includes only the most useful colours for modelers, discarding shades that would have no use with this technique.
They can be used directly or in combination with other products to achieve different textures.

AK gouache paints are a combination of opaque pigments mixed with a water-based binder. They create vibrant, saturated colours that are great for making matt opaque layers.
AK gouache paints can be applied over conventional acrylics, enamels, and oil paints along with plastic, paper, cardboard, and other types of media. These properties make AK gouache paints perfect for the application of matt rust, earth, and other weathering tones.
They can easily be diluted using tap water to create different weathering effects. The biggest advantage of AK gouache paints is that, once dry, they can be reactivated as much as needed using tap water for further blending. These acrylic paints dry quickly. Prior to applying AK gouache paints simply clean the surface to be painted using soap and water.

The colour Grime is intended to represent dirt effects on vehicle undersides, tarps, scenery, or accumulations in various strategic spots on our models. Being an acrylic paint, it allows us to build up or remove it with a brush so that the effect is in the "necessary" shape and location.
