Tamiya 87229 Masking Fluid (20g)

This special light green fluid is ideal for masking areas where tape may struggle, including complex or curved shapes and difficult surface finishes.

- Application: Can be applied directly from the bottle with minimal dripping for a clean, precise job.
- Compatibility: Can be used with Tamiya Color paint products.

Directions for Use:
1. Wipe oil from the target surface with detergent.
2. Apply directly from the bottle and allow to dry completely.
3. Cut off the area to be painted and remove other unnecessary sections, then paint.
4. Remove the masking fluid after the topcoat has dried completely.

Additional Notes:
- Apply masking fluid after the base coat has dried completely.
- Apply a thin layer (approximately 30 minutes to dry). Thicker layers will take longer to dry.
- Use a new modelling knife blade when cutting off dried masking fluid. Hold down any edges of the dried fluid that have space beneath.
- This fluid is water-based. Apply carefully over water-based paints.
- Fluid applied on complex surfaces may be difficult to remove.
- Handle the bottle gently to avoid accidental leakage.
- If the nozzle becomes clogged, remove and clean it.
