IMPORTANT INFO: Store your mat flat out of direct sunlight. Keep away from extreme hot and cold temperatures. Avoid making repeated cuts in the same location. While the PVC material is resistant to most chemicals used in modelling, spills of thinners, glues or paints will most likely smudge the print.

This is a high quality product. The mat itself is heavy grade (thick) in construction, with a nice slick surface. Just take some care cutting, otherwise you might end up cutting more than what you intended. Also take care in using solvents and adhesives; if spilled, it WILL mar the surface. Only drawback to this mat is the high quality illustration/blueprint. Its so damn nice, you end up hesitant to cut on the mat.
