Italeri 6193 1/72 WWII Stalingrad Siege "Operation Uranus" Battle Set
This is a plastic model kit, which comes unassembled and unpainted. So glue, model paints and other basic modelling tools are additionally required.
The battle of Stalingrad can be considered as one of the most important battles of the Second World War. Started in September 1942 when the city was reached by the Sixth Army of Paulus, it ended at the end of February 1943, with the defeat of the German troops, which surrounded by Russian troops and weakened by the terrible Russian winter, surrendered to Marshal Zhukov, commander of the Soviet troops of the sector. Particularly well known were the clashes around the two large factories, including the well-known Tractors Factory, where violent hand to hand fighting occurred.
