During WWII, Germany was the country which developed and equipped the most self- propelled guns, including the well-known Hummel and Grille. After WWII, Germany also actively developed new self-propelled guns to deal with more and more complicated situations around the world. In the 1990s, the Panzerhaubitze 2000 appeared. Once released, it was quickly recognized as the global standard for SPGs.
The PzH 2000's overall length is 11.69m, width is 3.54m and combat weight is 55.8t. The vehicle utilizes a large number of chassis parts of the Leopard 1 and Leopard 2 MBTs.
