The Panther Ausf. G was the most widely produced variant of the Pzkpfw V Panther, replacing the Ausf. A in 1944.
Designed with a more economical chassis and continuous improvements, later versions featured modifications like an updated engine deck and cylinder cover. Armed with a 7.5cm 42L/70 cannon and boasting a projectile-repellent design, the Panther was a formidable opponent on the battlefield. Powered by a V-12 Maybach HL 230P30 engine with 700 hp, this 44,800 kg tank could reach speeds of up to 55 km/h, with a crew of five.
