Derived from the renowned Panzerkampfwagen V Panther, the Jagdpanther was a formidable opponent on the battlefield, excelling in mobility, armor protection, and firepower. Armed with the powerful 8.8 cm Pak 43/3 L/71 gun, the Jagdpanther was produced starting in January 1944. Powered by a 600 hp V12-cylinder Maybach petrol engine, it could reach a top speed of 55 km/h. The tank destroyer was manned by a crew of five.
