This is the McLaren F1 GTR 'Longtail' - chassis #24R - raced throughout the 1998 British GT championship, scoring two wins and winning the GT1 drivers championship, and finished fourth at the 24 Hours of Le Mans the same year. The 1999 season saw a further victory in British GT, claiming third in the championship.

This model kit includes the full specifications of car #40 raced at Le Mans 1998, including the unique headlights, livery, and Cartograf printed decals, to recreate the iconic racer in intricate detail with the great cooperation and assistance from McLaren themselves.

Parts for the body come molded in white with the chassis and interior molded in black, matte silver parts for the exhausts and clear for the windows and headlights.
