Active since 1942, Strike Fighter Squadron 115 (VFA-115) originated as Torpedo Squadron Eleven (VT-11) during WWII. Since then, the unit has participated in such historical events as the Korean conflict and the Vietnam conflict, ranging all the way to Operation Iraqi Freedom. Hasegawa?s latest set features one F/A-18C kit and two F/A-18E Hornets. The ?C? variant features U.S. Navy markings for the U.S.S. Abraham Lincoln for June, 1999, while each ?E? aircraft comes with U.S. Navy markings for the U.S.S. George Washington ? one for Dec., 2009 and one for 2010.
