This is a plastic model kit, which comes unassembled and unpainted. So glue, model paints and other basic modelling tools are additionally required.

Although Japan was years behind most of the other belligerent nations in radar technology during WWII, it nevertheless had to confront the problem of enemies attacking after dark. Ever increasing raids, especially late in the war, were devastating Japanese cities. To stop some of the attackers, the incredibly manoeuvrable Mitsubishi ZERO was pressed into a night fighter role. They were equipped with upward-firing 20mm guns intended to tear the bellies out of bombers. Without radar, though, they had difficulty finding their targets. This limited edition kit features slanting gun, droptank, and decals for two IJN aircraft.
