Highly detailed 1/48 scale assembly model kit of the Kyushu J7W2 Shindenkai ('Magnificent Lightning'), a concept jet-powered interceptor fighter of the Imperial Japanese Navy in World War II. A variant of the prototype Kyushu J7W1 advanced delta-wing canard-design fighter, which were fitted one six-bladed pusher propeller in the rear of the fuselage, the Kyushu J7W2 was to be powered by a jet-engine. However, the concept fighter never left the drawing board, and only two prototype J7W1 propeller-driven "Shindenkai" fighters were built before the War in the Pacific ended. This rare 1/48 scale assembly model kit of the Kyushu concept fighter depicts the aircraft as it would have appeared had it been manufactured. This kit comes with 72 total parts and decals for 2 different fictional Kyushu J7W2 versions: 1) I.J.N. 302nd N.F.G. Yo: D-148 1947 (Fictional). 2) Luftwaffe Code: 13 1947 (Fictional).
