Hasegawa 09967 1/48 Hurricane MKIIC Kings Cup Air Race Limited Edition
This is a plastic model kit, which comes unassembled and unpainted. So glue, model paints and other basic modelling tools are additionally required.
Ready to capture the King's Cup.
First held on September 8, 1922, the 810-mile King's Cup Race started at the Croydon Aerodome, progressing to Glasgow, Scotland and back. The race was put on hiatus during World War II. Ironically enough, many World War II aircraft were modified into racing planes. The Hawker Hurricane Mk. IIC was no exception, participating in many King's Cup Races after resuming in 1949. This limited edition kit features new metal exhaust pipe parts.
