These aircraft helped Coalition forces to execute over 1,000 air sorties in the first 24 hours of Operation Desert Storm. This virtually unprecedented employment of total air supremacy led to a remarkably speedy victory for ground forces. Of nearly sixty Tornadoes deployed for the effort, six were lost but their very presence helped deter Iraqi pilots from attempting to engage. Today, 25 years after the Gulf War, it's more important than ever to remember its heroes. The kit features four sets of decals for RAF aircraft.
