The F-86 Sabre was first flown by U.S. Air Force pilots in 1949. During the Korean War, it became the U.S.A.F.'s main air-to-air jet fighter. Kit features separate flaps and side air brakes, twin under-wing fuel tanks, a removable side panel with machine gun bay detail, a standing pilot figure and decals for two versions: 1. F-86F-30NA, 52-4625, pilot Lt. Ed Barnes, 311 Fighter Bomber Sq., 58th F.B. Wing, Korea, 1953 and 2. F-86F-30NA, 52-4250, pilot Lt. Harvey L. Brown, 67th Fighter Bomber Sq., 18th F.B. Wing, Osan, Korea, 1953.
