TopNotch 32-M051 1/32 Spitfire I-V Pattern B Camo Masks
During 1940 two camouflage patterns were used. Type A for aircraft with serial numbers ending in even numbers and Type B for aircraft with serial numbers ending in odd numbers. During mid 1941 only type A was used.
Two types of noses have been provided for the modeller to choose from. Photos from the period show a variation. This may be because Spitfires were manufactured in 3 different factories or, as the spray mats were trimmed to remove frayed edges, the shapes changed.
We have tried to faithfully represent the scheme used for this period.
This set includes only the camouflage pattern. Serial numbers, code letters and other markings are not included.
Any products (models, paints etc) shown in photos are not included.
