Academy 14107 1/350 USS Indianapolis CA-35 1945
This is a plastic model kit, which comes unassembled and unpainted. So glue, model paints and other basic modelling tools are additionally required.
The U.S.S. Indianapolis CA-35 was used by the U.S. Navy in the Pacific War and it delivered the first operational atomic bomb to the island of Tinian. Torpedoed and sunk July 30, 1945, there were just 317 survivors from a crew of 1,196.
ALL NEW TOOLING kit. It bristles with armament, including 8" main guns, 5" guns, a quad 40 mm and twin 20 mm cannons. It features a scale SC-1 Seahawk search plane, life rafts and floater nets, search light, carefully reproduced radars, aircraft steam catapult, nicely defined superstructure, propellers and countless other skillfully crafted details.
