Thetis Models TM350-006WL 1/350 Submarine BARBARIGO (fitted out 1942) Waterline Version
3D printing resin kit and photo-etched parts in 1:350 scale. The kit allows you to build the BARBARIGO submarine in its configuration at the beginning of the summer of 1942 upon its return to the Bordeaux base.
The Barbarigo submarine, a ''Marcello'' class submarine, was a vessel that achieved a fair number of successes in the Atlantic during the Second World War against Allied merchant shipping, but whose name has unfortunately remained linked to that of Commander Grossi, who claimed two fanciful sinkings of American battleships, which were in reality only the result of macroscopic errors in identification and evaluation of events. The kit represents the vessel as it appeared at the beginning of the summer of 1942 upon its return to the Bordeaux base after the first of the episodes mentioned.
