Revell 00515 1/48 Leonardo da Vinci: Aerial Screw
Leonardo da Vinci, probably the greatest universal genius of all time, died on 2 May 1519. Revell honoured the artist, anatomist and engineer with a selection of kits of his greatest inventions. The elaborate models made of the authentic material wood are partly movable and enable Leonardo's groundbreaking ideas to be realized very closely. Leonardo already had the idea of a rotating wing with the propeller around 1480. Our modern helicopters are still based on this principle.
