I recently purchased this airbrush to replace my Aztek which have had for 20 odd years. The Tamiya HG Super Fine is a fantastic tool, I can finally do thin lines and for freehand camouflage schemes it is just great. The quality is excellent and it feels good in my big hands. I have read that the company that makes Iwata also makes the Tamiya.
This is my primary airbrush for most of my modelling. The replacement parts are all from the IWATA High performance and Hi-Line series of airbrushes so the guts of the Spray-Work brushes are superior quality. This is a professional standard brush that feels super smooth and balanced. With thin paint at low pressures the brush can achieve hair thin lines and when you open it up, its actually quite good for coverage, with super fine atomisation at higher pressures. One of the best things about the design of the brush is the inverted lip around the rim of the paint cup, which actually makes it hard to spill paint out of the cup. The only downside is the price of replacement parts. Being careful with the internals of the brush will save you quite a bit of money.
